Phillippa Clarke - Director

Our name stands for Virtual Business on the Internet and reflects our long term vision to help businesses benefit from the opportunities the Internet offers. We are intent on building strong relationships with business owners, knowing that developing valuable information systems requires detailed knowledge of the business, its environment, culture and personalities.

History

v-biz.net was founded in May 2004 by its directors, Justin von Perger and Phillippa Clarke.   Justin had just finished a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Information Systems) at Curtin University and was looking for the best way to apply his skills and experience to pressing issues in the IT industry.

What's in the name? v-biz.net is an acronym for Virtual Business over the Internet:

• Virtual : operating without being constrained by a physical location;
• Business : we are focussed on the needs and opportunities of business;
• Internet : where most opportunities and challenges will come from in the 21st century.

Putting it together: providing business with the support, expertise and tools to stay competitive and grow in the years ahead.
